Enabling our young people to think for themselves, have and give opinions, respond to choices and suggest changes is a huge aspect of what we are aiming to achieve for our pupils as they journey through our school into adulthood.
To facilitate the development of these key skills we offer numerous opportunities for pupils to advocate for themselves throughout their school career.
These opportunities include:
- attending person centred reviews
- responding to surveys
- attending school council meetings
- skilling up preferred means of communication to express wants and needs
