It has been an incredible year. This time last year we really had no idea what was in store for 2020 and here we are near the end of it, waving goodbye for the holidays and wishing everyone a merry Christmas.
I know everyone is going to do their best to ensure it is a merry Christmas, despite all the restrictions and uncertainty. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in our school community for their support and understanding over the past 10 months as we have tackled each new challenge and done our best to keep school open and running and everyone safe and sound.
At time of writing this I know that we will be in the first wave of school mass rapid testing in January and await more information about our role in helping deliver it.
As a special school, we will be 100% open to pupils from 5th January 2021. (Monday 4th January 2021 is a staff INSET training day.)
As you know we are remaining contactable for the first week of the holiday as part of our test and trace responsibilities on the special number given to families for this purpose.
So have a very healthy and happy holiday everyone and we will look forward to seeing everyone in 2021!
