Exhibition of 6th Form Student Photography

It was with huge pleasure that we invited parents, carers and guests to the opening of our exhibition of photography by 6th form students at Wyvern on Wednesday evening. 20 large format framed prints are on display in the main 6th form department as well as a further portfolio of work along with shots taken by staff of the students actually engaged in shoots.

A portrait project with each other as models, students were presented with a range of props they could use and made decisions about lighting and backgrounds as well as helping select the final chosen images.

All exhibition portraits are available for parents and carers to buy as framed prints in 6 x 4 or A3 formats.

All credit to our photographers for their brilliant pictures, capturing the personalities we know and love so well. My thanks too to Karen Dycer for her delicious catering on the night and of course to teachers Kirstie Kerr, Kelly Taylor and Lucy Ardagh for organising the event as well as all the inspired teaching and learning involved in producing the pictures.

The exhibition will continue for the next few weeks so if you are visiting school and would like to see the work we can arrange a viewing on request.
