Lower School News, December 2019

Jet class have had a wonderful term learning all about household machines and how they work. We   particularly enjoyed making washing machines and have loved eating the toast we made in toasters, Yummy! We’ve also enjoyed lots of trips out to the park and even the cafe! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas from Jet Class.

Purple class have loved investigating magnets in science and hunting for domestic machines around the school for topic work. We played lots of     cooperative games and made some gorgeous bracelets in Friendship week

Blue class have enjoyed music and exploring machines. We have managed to get out on the bus a bit and see machines in situ and have made box models of them in class. Everyone joined in Friendship week and had a fab time making a class friendship tree. We are now looking forward to Christmas!

Orange class have been really busy.  We have been   looking at household machines, visiting Curry’s and   using hoovers in class.  As a class we have really been  enjoying music and are getting really good at playing   different    instruments to different tempos!  We have also been       exploring the autumnal countryside and loved a walk around the woods kicking up the leaves and then coming back and doing some art with what we had collected.  We are all going to have a try at horse riding, a few of us have been already and loved it.  We have just started practicing for our Christmas performance and will be busy making lots of Christmas decorations.

Green class have been doing lots of lovely sensory activities relating to nursery rhymes, children in need and friendship week.  We are all looking forward to Christmas and all our Christmas activities.
