Green class has been settling in to a new school year. They have been learning about their faces,  finding ways of communicating and getting to know the school. They have been learning through play and   using all their senses.

Orange class have got off to a flying start this year.  We had a highly successful first trip out together to Abbotsbury Farm.  We have really been enjoying our PE and cookery sessions too!  We are about to start work on pushes and pulls and the book ‘That’s Not My Robot!’

The new Blue class has been getting to know each other and their surroundings.  We have looked at different body parts through art, cooking and sensology and done lots of exploring with our hands.

Purple Class have quickly settled down into the new academic year and are thoroughly enjoying each others company. The first few weeks we have been immersed in the ‘All About Me’ topic which has included lots of work around what we look like – our similarities and differences. Everyone loved making face pizza and our literacy has been hair raising!

Jet Class have had a great start to the new school year. We’ve really enjoyed getting to know each  other through our ‘All About Me’ topic and learning about each others families. We’ve explored our senses through sensory phonics tasting lots of food beginning with our focus letter and enjoyed lots of messy play! We can’t wait to get started learning about machines in our next topic and our focus book, ‘That’s not my Robot!’
